Quick Action Button

Haven includes a quick action button designed to help you accomplish more tasks in Haven in a shorter amount of time.  Using the quick action button, you can quickly send a message, create and send an estimate, create and send an invoice, prepare a journal entry, or return to the main dashboard.

The quick action button appears on nearly all screens in the Haven app.  To access the quick action button, tap or click the blue button with a white plus sign inside it down at the bottom right-hand corner of the Haven app.  A wheel with quick-action links will appear.  Tap or click the appropriate link to complete your task.

Notifications

Certain actions that you or a team member take in the Haven app will trigger a notification that other team members can see.  For example, if one of your team members creates and sends an invoice, then you will receive a notification alerting you to that action.

You can view notifications by tapping or clicking on the bell icon at the upper right-hand corner of the Haven app or by going to the navigation bar and tapping or clicking the notification icon.

Unread notifications appear at the top of the notifications page.  After you view a notification, it will be marked as read and will drop down to the category for read notifications.  Regardless of a notification’s status as read or unread, some types of notifications can be tapped or clicked and will take you to the particular item that gave rise to the notification.  For example, if one of your team members created and sent an invoice, then you could quickly view that invoice by tapping or clicking on the corresponding notification.

External Documents

When you send an estimate or an invoice to a customer, the customer will receive an e-mail with a link to view that estimate or invoice in a customer-facing portal.  But you, too, may be a customer of another business that uses Haven, so you, too, have your own customer-facing portal for when your business is the customer.

To access your own customer-facing portal, from the main dashboard, tap or click the dropdown arrow by the name of your business and then tap or click “External Documents.”  You will then see any estimates and invoices that you have received from any business who is also using Haven and to make payments on those invoices.
