Listing Products

To list a good or service as a product, from the main screen, go to the navigation pane (accessible by tapping the menu button in the upper left-hand corner on your smartphone and already visible on the left-hand side of the screen on your tablet, desktop, and web-based versions of Haven).  In the upper right-hand corner of the Products page, you will see an “Add” button.  Tap or click the “Add” button and fill in the requested information in the window that appears.  Finally, save the product or service by tapping or clicking the “Create Product” button at the bottom of the window.

Creating Default Tasks

When you create a product, you can also create default tasks that Haven will automatically assign to you or others in your organization to perform when a customer accepts an estimate for that product.

To create a default task, in the “New Product” window that appears when you first create a product, under the “Default Tasks” heading, tap or click the “Add Default Task” button and fill in the requested information.  You can create more than one default task if you would like to do so.

If you did not create a default task when you first created a product, then you can do so later at any time by going to the products page, tapping or clicking the product for which you would like to create a default task, and filling in the requested information.
